Tatung Telecom Series 6100 wireless local loop
phone is based on the GSM wireless technology, the efficient and
economical solution for providing a telecommunication services in remote
locations or as an alternative to the traditional land line phone service in
urban locations. The Series 6100 avoids the enormous investments required to
bring basic public communication services to developing locations by
eliminating the expense of laying down cable and wire. Moreover, the ability
of the wireless technology in the Series 6100 to span large geographic areas
using existing cellular technologies compliment the already lucrative land
line based residential and commercial telecom market. The Series 6100 phone
features large round keys for easy navigation, a digital LCD panel for
instructions and call status, and lightweight handset. Equipped with the GSM/GPRS
technology, the Series 6100 is capable of expanding distances with greater
clarity then any personal cellular on the market. In addition to the
expanded coverage, the Series 6100 supports the Payphone Management System
(PMS), a platform that allows the operator to provide additional features

access the PMS' features.

operator assisted pay phone services in urban and remote locations. The
Series 6600 avoids the enormous investments required to bring basic public
payphone services to locations not only by avoiding the expense of laying
cable but also by eliminating the need for extensive traffic engineering.
